- 300 g fresh or frozen peas
- 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp full fat soft cheese, provided baby is over 6 months
Bring a pan of water to the boil and add the peas and garlic. Simmer for about 3-4 mins, then drain, reserving some of the cooking water.
Transfer the peas and garlic to a blender with the cream cheese (if using) and purée, adding a little more cooking liquid (if necessary) until it’s smooth and creamy.
