• 1 pack of Sainsbury’s Love Your Veg! Shroomballs with Jackfruit
  • 3 red peppers, cored and cut into quarters
  • 100g walnuts, toasted
  • 50g stale bread or 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pomegranate molasses
  • Juice of ½ lemon or 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

    Cook the Sainsbury’s Love Your Veg! Shroomballs with Jackfruit according to the pack instructions. Set aside.

    Add a little olive oil to a large frying pan and place the peppers skin down. Fry on a medium heat, turning occasionally until cooked and blistered a little. Set aside to cool. Dry toast the walnuts in a pan until lightly toasted.

    Blitz the stale bread in a food processor until you get a chunky crumb. Add in the walnuts and blitz again. Now add the peppers, chilli flakes, cumin seeds, paprika, pomegranate molasses and lemon juice and blitz to a chunky paste.

    Pour in the olive oil

    To serve, dunk the Shroomballs into the Muhamarra
