Ingredients

  • 750ml Ellercombe sparkling wine
  • (optional) 100ml brandy or cognac
  • 1 lime - sliced into wedges
  • 250ml pressed apple juice - not from concentrate
  • 1 lemon - sliced into wedges
  • 100ml sugar syrup
  • 100ml Sicilian lemonade
  • 15g fresh mint leaves
  • Handful of ice

Method

    Squeeze juice from the citrus wedges into a pitcher. Remove any seeds (if possible) and throw the wedges into the pitcher.

    Add your Ellercombe sparkling wine and pressed apple juice

  3. 3

    Add your cognac (if using), your sugar syrup, your mint leaves and give it a stir to marry the flavours

  4. 4

    Add Sicilian lemonade, mint leaves and cubed ice to fill.

  5. 5

    Give it another short stir to chill and slightly dilute the sangria. Serve and enjoy!
