- 225 g fresh blackberries, washed
- 2 tbsp Fairtrade caster sugar
- 4 slice New York vanilla cheesecake
Put the blackberries and sugar in a large saucepan with 1 tablespoon water. Simmer gently for 5-10 minutes, until the berries are soft and sticky.
Plate up the cheesecake slices and spoon over the warm compote to serve.
