Micro magic Christmas pudding
Make your Christmas pudding in the microwave this year to save time and washing up. Lightly grease four mugs or teacups and fill them with spiced fruit mixture to make the easiest Christmas pudding ever
Put the fruit, crumbs, mixed spice, mincemeat, treacle, orange zest and juice and brown ale in a food processor and blitz for a few seconds.
Grease four microwave-proof teacups with butter. Place a round of greaseproof paper in the base of each cup.
Divide the mixture between the cups and cover with a larger round of greaseproof paper.
Microwave two puddings at a time at 600 watts for 8 minutes.
Leave the puddings to stand for 5 minutes before turning out and serving decorated with holly leaves.
