The skinny on the tastiest dinners in the capital

Beyond Foodies

Another absolutely cracking social enterprise venture, The Beyond Food Foundation are going gourmet with their new supper club. This time they'll be hosting a four-course menu by Raymond Blanc and Heston Blumenthal protégés Oleg and Tommy with roasted Cornish lamb rump and lavender-scented panna cotta.

All the while they'll be raising money for the foundation, a food based charity fighting homelessness in London.

Luxury gastronomic caterers Cuisson are hosting a seriously tasty event called POPdown for most of July. A relaxed affair with Michelin starred bods who have trained at restaurants like Le Cinq, Galvin at Windows, Le Gavroche, The Square, Le Trianon de Paris, The Fat Duck and Maze Gordon Ramsay.

They'll plate up all seven courses right in front of you and potentially even ask you to add the finishing touches to the dishes. Sounds fun right?

Syrian Supper

An evening of Levantine treats not just to blow your gastronomic mind but to help you remember some of the good things Syria should be known for. The best bit is every penny raised goes to Seenaryo, a new theatre project with Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

The Underground Supper Club

With venues getting as kooky as a disused part of the Victoria line, the folk behind The Underground Supper Club, Basement Galley, have come up with some pretty darn special dos. Held in empty tube carriages, punters are served Cordon Bleu plates in bonkers locations like an old Dutch barge.

Basement Galley is headed up by classically trained chef Alex and hosts two fine dining supper clubs: The Underground Supper Club in an old 1967 tube carriage, and Rootdown Residency - a molecular affair at the brand new Rootdown Restaurant and Bar in Clapton. Keep your eyes peeled for their next offering - it's sure to be good.
