We round up the best foodie events happening in London this week, kicking off Monday 25 May
How has your bank holiday weekend been so far? Don't worry that it's all over tomorrow – we've found the best, most exciting events to visit in your four-day week …
Head to the Model Market
Back for another year, the Model Market in Lewisham is the crème de la crème of street food. Once a 1950s market, the place has now been returned to its former glory with live music and the best of British munchies, every Friday and Saturday throughout May until October, from 5pm until late.
It's all about Night Tales
Returning to Old Street, Night Tales brings you Summer Tales. Running from this week through the summer, Summer Tales is a jungle-themed pop-up merging street food, cocktails, and DJs who are there to spin the sound of summer. Enjoy while lounging in a hammock or swinging on a rope swing. Food from Burger & Lobster, Bonnie Gull, Morty & Bob's and Forza Win will all be there, plus boozy milkshakes and badges. We'll see you there. Queue jump, entry and a cocktail from £10.
Let's go to the beach
OK, not the real beach, but we can get pretty close with the Nantucket Beach Club. Head right to the rooftop of the Skylounge of the Double Tree Hilton near the Tower of London, where there'll be cocktails by the jar, swing benches and even the club's very own lighthouse. Entry is free from now until September.
Make like Peter Rabbit and get radishes on your menu. These scarlet beauties are back in season and we've found some delicious ideas for how to use them.
