Lord your superior cooking skills over your summer party guests with this easy breezy recipe
If you're looking to make some serious friends this summer then you certainly won't go far wrong whipping up (see what we did there?) this absurdly delicious no-churn ice-cream.
Just add all the good stuff – there really is no point in worrying about calories now. This is ice-cream so get whipping and freeze. The results are a smooth, indulgent ice-cream with a nutty Snickers twist.
Makes 1 small loaf tin
You will need:
- 600ml (large pot) double cream
- 397ml (standard tin) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- A mixing bowl
- An electric whisk
- A loaf tin
- A big squeeze of caramel
- Half a cup of peanuts
- Half a large bar of chopped dark chocolate
Pour your cream, condensed milk and vanilla into a mixing bowl.
Whisk like a maniac.
Keep whisking for approximately 3 minutes until your mixture looks like this. It should be the consistency of whipped cream. We found that the better our mixture was whipped, the better it froze.
Place the mixture in a loaf tin and fold in your Snickers bits and pieces (the caramel, peanuts and chopped dark chocolate). Freeze overnight.
Find the nearest bowl and spoon, and tuck right in. Be warned: you may never stop.
