Unless you’ve been living under a rock cake, you’ll know that Joanna Lumley, Great Comic Relief Bake Off contestant, "doesn’t eat meals" and “hates cake”. Really.

So, you’ll forgive us for not holding our breath as the Ab Fab star heads into the candy-coloured tent tonight alongside pint-sized singer Lulu, Dame Edna Everage and comedian Jennifer Saunders.

Whether they’ll produce anything edible is anyone’s guess but tonight the quartet of famous faces will be tackling a giant biscuit, 12 fruit tarts and a show-stopper tiered chocolate cake.

We’ve heard whispers on the cake baking grapevine that *spoiler alert* Dame Edna’s giant cookie needs cutting out of the tin with secateurs (oh possum!), Bake Off's very own Mr Nasty, Paul Hollywood, is reluctant to taste one “informal” offering and Jennifer Saunders makes a cake in the shape of a soggy-bottomed bed (does that count in Bake Off bingo?).

Here's a little teaser to ease you back into that Bake Off state of mind:

The first episode is on BBC One tonight at 8pm.
