Going animal-free has become a star-studded trend
Yes, it's true: the 25-year-old Hunger Games franchise leading man, Liam Hemsworth, has revealed that he's ditched the animal products in favour of a fully vegan lifestyle.
In a recent interview with Men's Fitness, the Australian-born actor detailed why he made the decision. "[I did it for] my own health, and after all the information I gathered about the mistreatment of animals, I couldn’t continue to eat meat. The more I was aware of, the harder and harder it was to do," he said.
And the upshot of his new greens-and-grains fuelled lifestyle? "I feel nothing but positive, mentally and physically. I love it. I feel like it also has a kind of a domino effect on the rest of my life."
It seems the plant-based way of life is only going more mainstream: Beyoncé has launched a 22-day vegan food delivery service and vegetarian food blogger Deliciously Ella's debut cookbook had to be reprinted six times before it was even published in 2015.
A recent report revealed that 20% of 16 to 24 year olds in Britain claim to be veggie or vegan, and it seems the famous faces signing up to the vegan way of life just keep multiplying, too.
Here are some familiar faces you might not have guessed are signed-up members of the no-steak club.
