What better way to celebrate Fashion Week than with some famous faces painted on nuts?
Amid Kimye’s baby North throwing a tantrum in front of a none-too-pleased Anna Wintour and endless street style pics, it can be hard to keep up. But there’s only one Instagram account you really need to know about over Fashion Week: Fashionisnuts.
By day Donald Robertson is a creative director for Estee Lauder. By night he uses paint and sticky tape to create a never-ending nutty stream of artwork. Literally.
The portraits of his favourite iconic faces from fashion, such as Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld and Vogue’s Anna Wintour, are made using walnuts. Yes, walnuts.
They are so brilliant that they’re even being turned into a book: Fashion is Nuts, a 40 page collection of the nutty pieces.
Who knew you could have so much fun with a walnuts? Well, Robertson has cracked it.
