Old jam jars or coffee jars make the perfect vessel for this delicious concoction by Mixologist Richard Woods

  1. 50ml Jack Daniels
  2. 1-2 Tea Spoons of marmalade. Seville oranges works great, but so do apricots
  3. 8-10 Mint leaves
  4. Orange zest ribbons

  1. Add the marmalade, mint, ribbons and Jack Daniels to your jam jar. Half fill the jar with crushed ice and churn to mix and dilute the flavours. Top with fresh ice and garnish with a large mint sprig (slapped prior to adding to the glass to release more aroma), a dehydrated orange wheel and more orange zest ribbons.
  2. To make your dehydrated wheels, simply cut wheels out of oranges or lemons and add to a baking tray and place in the oven on a low heat for 4hrs – turning half way. These not only make great drink garnishes but are perfect for Christmas tree decorations.
